My company sent me to Russia for a couple of years to help developing our business. When I arrived in Moscow, I hardly spoke any Russian. In order to understand the Russian people and the country, I had to start learning Russian. Strangely, there are not so many language schools in Moscow where you can follow Russian language courses in the evening. Hence, I quickly found language school Russian lab, located in the center of Moscow near Kropotkinskaya metro station. I am now returning to my home country and thanks to the patient, professional and friendly teachers at Russian lab, I passed the official test Russian as a foreign level language-certification level 1 (TRAF-1). I am now able to communicate in Russian, give presentations, read books, newspapers and journals, watch TV and listen to music. Welcome to by far the warmest, the best and the most joyful Russian learning environment in Moscow. I had the chance to meet these wonderful people 1 and a half year ago. Amazingly I have enjoyed my each second spent in Russian Lab, though I did not miss my school years. If you want to learn Russian despite your tough and challenging work schedule, Russian Lab would be a good choice since they are always flexible considering your time schedule. Most importantly, teachers are really kind, extremely talented and interesting people so that they always find different ways to get your attention to the subject by being creative. Conducting business in Russia without speaking Russian is tough. Even with the best translators it is very frustrating and a lot of time and meaning is lost in the process. Even Churchill found it frustrating during his meetings with Stalin. I have been learning at Russianlab from 2006, from my long experience I can confirm below points.
1.I am not always good student but Russianlab team is always good.
2.Univercity is not flexible in terms of time/date and type of class, but Russianlab can provide you wide range of lesson, for example, one-to-one lesson in the early morning of working day(not for me, I have no idea how Russianlab teachers can wake up ), group lesson on weekend etc.
3. Private tutors are not always professional and not good at improving educational method because they are individuals, but Russianlab is team, they have very professional specialists for teaching language to foreigners and they share the best practice and update the latest teaching method.
4. Russianlab has atmosphere of good friends, so you will not be lost alone, Russianlab team and your classmates will help you.
For me Russianlab is very cozy place to learn, I think everybody can find its own advantage at Russianl

Russian lab is the best language school I have experienced, because of their teachers ability to adapt to the students learning style, the high quality and the energy and motivational level they keep throughout the lessons. Also, the location of Russian lab is very convenient, the administrative part is kept flexible and easy. The premises are friendly and there is always a good atmosphere. Can't imagine how i will keep learning Russian without Russian lab when i have to leave Russia.
